Man, I was a busy little blogger this week (six straight days of blogging!), especially considering I got stranded at my sister's house during a blizzard:
(note Josie's comment and my reply)
Anyway, here's the Best of (really it's everything) what happened in Whine-ville this week.
The beginning of the week started off well.
It feels eerily good when my hubs experiences the same frustrations with our kids on the weekend that I experience all week.

We went to the zoo on Sunday...
Just got to the zoo. Starting off well. My son just accidentally punched my husband in the groin.

And had a great time...
Went all the way to the zoo where my kids could play with downspouts, puddles and sticks. Next time I'm carting the wagon to the backyard.

On Monday, for the Monday Listicles I wrote the 10 Dumbest Things I Ever Purchased.
On Tuesday I shared the story of how my dad convinced me he was an Indian when he was little. And my grandpa backed him up on that blatant lie: My Dad Lied To Me
Wednesday was the day for the weekly Caption That! photo. Try it out for your chance to win great prizes (your name and/or picture in my sidebar).
Thursday marked the last day of the month, so I carried on with my Top 10 Tweets of February 2013. They're funny - don't worry, only one is mine.
On Friday, I made my radio debut at The Sociable Homeschooler (click the link to hear the podcast). This really was my debut. I never called into the radio station when I was a kid to win Baby Got Back DVDs or have conversations with Wolfman Jack like my sister did. I was never the 105th caller.
Stinking rotary phone.
The topic for Finish The Sentence Friday was social media: How I Use Social Media. This post wasn't really funny. But if you want to know what types of social media I use in general, as well as to promote my blog, then check it out.
And that about sums up my week.
What was the highlight of your week?

Highlight of my week: I finished my first TESOL graduate class. Only 10 to go!
ReplyDeleteIs that teaching English to people who have a different first language? Good for you!
ReplyDeleteWow you have had a full week. I would have gladly taken some of the snow.. I would like to have at least ONE good snow before winter is completely gone. Sighs. How cool that you were on the radio, that is awesome and I might be a wee bit jealous..
ReplyDeleteThe highlight of my week was the night I scheduled a blog post for EVERY day of the week AND Monday of next week. I was on a roll. Now if I could just keep it up and stay ahead of the game I might have some better writing to put out there. :-)
ReplyDeleteThat's impressive. I still don't have a clue what I'm going to write for Monday (Sunday night). Ugh.
ReplyDeleteI loved your wrap-up and really have to say I think it truly works so nicely for all :) :)
ReplyDeleteYes! I have a TESOL, and so does my hubs! Maybe when we retire we'll travel the world teaching English.... :)
ReplyDeleteMy hightlight of the week was learning how to spell week kept typing it weke...........lol ok seriously it was going to the show with my daughter Jessica yesterday........
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had quite the busy week! Look forward to hearing your radio interview when it's available. :)
ReplyDeleteFrom the day your kid turns 2, until she's 15, a man's groin goes through relentless bludgeoning. I winced when I read it.
ReplyDeleteYour tweets have me cracking up. I can so relate with the zoo--dragging that wagon to the backyard too. Same experience and cheaper that way ;)
