We can either be traditional or non-traditional in the way we do things, I…do both depending on what we’re talking about. Little did Jean know that when she came up with this sentence prompt for this week that I would go out and start a whole new blog.
Yeah, I did.
Sometimes I do things that don’t make sense. I don’t have time to start a new blog, but I don’t always do rational things. It’s not uncommon for me to get in over my head.
My special talent is regularly biting off more than I can chew in life…then choking on it.

I started writing a post for this sentence prompt about gardening and how it’s traditional and I got off on this tangent of my history of gardening and in the hour I waited for my daughter outside her speech class I planned out an entire blog.
It wasn’t the first time I envisioned a blog combining gardening and humor, so this prompt seemed like the perfect time to just run with it…minus the fact that the forecasted high on Monday is -4F and I haven’t even thought about growing seedlings in my basement yet.
The blog is on WordPress. I have no idea how to run a blog on WordPress. I’m a Blogger blogger. So it pretty much looks like a pile of junk over there. Feel sorry for me and check it out. Here it is: I Try to Grow Stuff.
I already have two followers. Which, holy crap, that means I actually have to post something now. I don’t know if I can handle that kind of pressure.
My new blog won’t change anything about my current blog. I’m not going to run off and become a Master Gardener and desert the land of Whine….at least I don’t think I will. It’ll be a fun place for me to share my experiences in my garden and my plans for the growing season. I’m pretty excited about it.
So, go check it out already!
